La bête humaine shot in Le Havre
The film was shot shortly after the creation of the SNCF. Large means have been granted to production; Jean Gabin has even learned to drive a train. In the film, passenger cars still display the word "ETAT", however, in one of the shots of the film, we can already see a car "SNCF".
The Lison, the steam locomotive of the heroes of the film that takes the line Paris-Le Havre enters the Le Havre train station, along quays almost unchanged for 80 years.
The scene of the arrival of the train was filmed at the station at cours de la République.
